Sup guys? Im new to the forum. I jus got a MPC 2500 and recently learned how to sync in with pro tools. Ive used both Midi Beat Clock and Midi Time Code and they work pretty fine (although I use the MBC most). What I wanna knw is how to insert an empty bar or two into a sequence to give Pro tools and the mpc enough time to sync in Midi Time Code. Could someone tell me how to do this in detail please?
Thanx!

Check the manual, the function is detailed in there.

Welcome to the forum shorterboy.

Is it safe to assume that you have read the manual and continue to do so?

Take your time with the machine, at least master the basics without help if possible.

Working with sequences in the MPC is real fundamental stuff, so check and try all of the sequence editing windows.

make a new sequence with empty bars. then in song mode, place this empty sequence before your other sequences.
or
add some more bars to your sequence using the jog wheel in the main screen. then go into sequence edit/bars and move the empty bars to the beginning of the sequence.
