flash cards wont work.

Just upgraded to JJOS 4.99, and now my flash cards wont work. If I turn on the MPC with a flash card in it, my screen goes blank immediately after MPC 1000 (128 mb installed). If I turn it on and then try to insert the flash card my screen goes blank immediately. Tried this will multiple flash cards as well, and they definitely worked before because thats how I installed the OS in the first place. Anyone have this problem or any ideas? thanks for your time!

pull the card out and check to see if you bent any pins

yeah, you're on the money. One of the pins is bent towards the middle on the bottom row. shit. it there a way to get in there easier if i unscrew shit or do i have to get like a super bright flashlight and micro tweezers? Thanks for the help

You can usually get it to straighten out with something that has a real fine point. If the pins break or don't straighten out you can buy the assembly from mpcstuff or akai directly. It's a simple fix. The part is like $125
