hi there, I'm trying to figure out how to make Nuendo listen to my mpc500.... as slave, so when I hit a key on my mpc - and I've loaded vst instrument on a specific midi track, I would hear the notes etc.

Also - once I've that figured out, how can you map keys to specific notes?

thanks in davance for the advice.

Read thru those threads the info is in there.

Cubase and Nuendo are both produced by the same company, operations are similar in many cases.

And while you're at it read your manual to help you figure out the basics.

hi there, thanks for the links, but of course these I already found. thing is that I can get my mpc500 to work as slave.... but not as master. Also, on the Akai Pro pages I looked, and for the higher versions of MPC, they describe both master and slave...but for the 500 only the slave setting.... unless I'm doing something wrong, which is most likely as I'm new to this whole thing.

What does the MPC500 manual say about the issue?

What did you find out from the 500 forum?
