I have a mpc 1000 black model, I am wondering if anyone knows if I can erase the factory pre set sounds out of the mpc??
Because, the seq: sunny side, top gun, etc. keep uploading everytime i load up my machine. Then i have to physically erase all sequences EVERYTIME! Also, the mixing levels, effects, etc. is all already set making me change it everytime. I shouldn't have to deleate every sound, seq, settings, etc. every single time I want to mess with my machine. Is there anyone out there who knows how I can delete these sounds/settings for good?
thanks vh1

Turn autoload off, start your mpc, load one sample, go to save screen, navigate to the top of the screen, select save to internal, select save all programs and samples, hit "do it", it's going to ask you twice if you are sure, click "do it" both times and your internal memory will be completely empty except for the single sample and program you saved. This is the closest you can get to fully wiping it.
