And this was only 1 of the 4 storage units filled with records, and he has one truck load left to pick up.

@ Ben, I found all kinds of stuff in there. Jazz, funk, soul, country, punk, industrial, classic rock, alternative, and more.

@ Pound, I was in there for 4 hours with my TT. No blunts though. Not my thing.

@ stryke, yeah, I found the guy through craigslist originally, but lost his #, then I ran into him again at a record show.

@ DJ e.d.e., It is climate controlled.

The guy offered to sell me all the 12" singles for $250. which was easily 400+ records, but I have no need for dirty south records.

yeah 250 for dirty south records i wouldnt pay25 cents but if he got some classic's,maybe .nice climate controlled storage.

sine your going thru them you should ask him to cut you a deal for some kinda of originzation you can put them into for him.

back i the 80's i worked for a friend putting a wall of 45s in abc order worked 8hours aday got 8 records, back then arecord cost 6.99 12" 8.99-9.99 an album, nothing better then working for records what a deal

He is selling sealed LP's for $5, all other LP's for $3 and 12" singles for $1. At least in that storage unit. His pricing might be different with other things. Can't really ask for a better deal than that.

$1 a single seems a bit much... the spot I used to go to sold 12" singles for $1.00 for 1kG (1kg=2.2lbs) and they had a scale at the cash. (not new though but in mint condition)

they must have been all garbage R&B type stuff right? In that case I would be making some serious stuff like this

I actually didn't look too much... i saw a lot of jay-z, def jam labeled stuff with the song names written under the def jam logo... and i forget what else. Basically after 10 seconds I went over to the other end of the place to check through the folk and gypsy obscure stuff. I bought a 10" stack of full albums for like 13 bucks or so...
