ressurection?

hey everybody, great site, just stumbled on it the other day.
problem-

my mpc2000 just started getting really distorted on the right channel

was this caused by anything particular? (smoke free/low dust music space)
is this easily fixable?
or is it better trying to track down another?
given the fact she's pretty old i'm not surprised at the deterioration.

any help muchly appreciated,

just give it some TLC she'll give you wat you put into her,

check your wires maybe your wires are bad ,also you connection on the MPc the connection could be loose tighten then up open the mpc and tighten the screws.high;y doubt thats it,
i've been having some sounds like that recently too nly cause i'm using my mpc inside not in the studio,but the wires i have are old and they may be going out now .

i may have to open er up again and retighten stuff.
