help.

although im familiar with most of the things the mpc can do i recently thought about hooking it up to my computer and realized im an idiot and have no idea what i need or how to do so.....so if its not too much trouble, could sombody explain how to do this...

and please explain it like your telling a friend, not writing a tutorial because aside from microsoft paint im computer term illiterate.

could you be more specific about what you want to do? if you are that computer illiterate i am not sure using both would be a big advantage to you. you can use a computer to edit samples, add fx, arrage songs, record vocals or other instruments along to your mpc songs. all kinds of cool stuff. you can use softsynths on the computer and turn your computer (and a midi keyboard) into a full blown synth. if any of that sounds interesting i am sure that me and alot of peeps on here can help you out alot. peace.

>First you need to record your beats onto your computer by getting a cord that you can get from Radio Shack, 99 Cents store, Family Dollar wherever.......It has the RCA's at one and and a 1/8 headphone jack on the other end of it. Plug the RCA's into the LINE OUT, or Master out of the MPC, and plug the 1/8 jack into your LINE IN on your soundcard on your computer. [if your computer is too far away, you can always record the same way into a mini disc player, and then do 1/8 to 1/8 from the mini disc player to the line in on your soundcard]. Next get a program that records audio.......
