LOL man only reason i even ever bought pro tools was because studio clients had heard of it and expected it
but after learning ableton, pro tools is like 1/10 as useful in comparison just twice as old though so had a 10 year advantage on establishing itself
now i only used prorools versions 6 & 7 so if they have flipped it on version 8 i don't know
but damn, ableton you can make beats with drumracks/mpc and your drums/samples are getting tracked out as you make it, then can fold all those drum rack tracks into a submix track out of the way then go ahead an record the rapper or singer , then mix everything
and that's just like a 10th of what you can do
nice to be able to not have to carry around an mbox if on the go to
