Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey, im obviously new! I have a question: maybe a lil newbish...but i really need help

How do I reset the notes on the MPC 2000xl so that they are in order?
for instance a01=35 a02-36 a03=67 a04=82. (Not cool)

How do I get these notes in order and save it so that everytime i open up the MPc it stays there.

This is really messing up my 808's and playing my synth on the my MPC200xl...

I would greatly appreciate the help

Change the notes how you want, then save a blank PGM, then everytime you start a new project, ust that PGM as a starting point. There is no way to save those notes in order in the mpc itself, you MUST save the notes in a PGM.

it's not that kinda of machine!!! you have to load everything personally and then save as lamp menetioned then when you reload your mpc it the way you want it,

these machines dont come with sound well at least the 2000 xl didnt . they dont come nstalled you have to do it yourself

Set your mpc to startup (startup device, APS + ALL) on your media (floppy, CF, SCSI) that is already inserted before power on.

On the root of your media, have your APS and ALL and all your samples associated with that APS and ALL.

Your MPC will startup and load the APS and ALL.

How to set startup is in the manual.

No kidding, but that doesn't have anything to do with the blank chromatic .pgm benbeatz is trying to make.

i didnt get that part most people ask for chormatic as in piano scale not in order.
i understood it as why his sounds didnt come up loaded the way he had them inorder when he turned on the mpc.

but lamp
thanks man , i'll have to try that .i just load my stuff up when i want to make beats .i dont have my sounds loaded in automatically when truned on.

that would force you to have to use the same kit everytime right?

i sample everytime i turn on my mpc, sometimes i sample the same kit over again.i have kits saved but,i dont use the same kit inless it's like a 909 808 707 626
