Hello all, I've just finished a beat that I am ready to record on my laptop but have run into the problem of the track skipping beats when recording. I'm recording from the stereo mpc outputs directly into my soundcard and using Mixcraft 4 to record. When I listen to my beat with headphones on via the phone jack there is no skipping and the track plays the way it should, however as soon as I record there will be skips in the recorded track. Is there any way to fix the skipping problem? any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.
