What are the Top 3 best features of JJOS?

Could somebody list their top 3 favorite features about JJOS and describe why they are your favorite?

whats auto chord?

well I'm sure that's not the "official" title
but you, for example, pick a single piano "note stab" select which type chord you want (major, minor, etc etc)....VIOLA!

why do you want to know that? if you are debating whether to get the JJ OS or not, that decision is a no-brainer: get it.
every aspect of it is superior to the akai os.

There is no comparison of JJOS to nukai OS. JJOS turns the mpc into a whole new BEAST. My top JJOS features:

1:Global program editing (could not believe this was not in the original akai os)
2:ADSR
3:Quantise Strength (i luv this one!!!)
4:Overall enhancement in speed/workflow

1. Global program edit
2. Mini-grid in Main screen w/ edit functions
3. Non-destructive chopping

Top 3 features of JJ OS:

1. That XL is better than Akai OS

2. That OS2 is better than Akai OS

3. That OS1 is better than Akai OS


That says it all.

1. Quantise STRENGTH (only in JJOS2XL)
2. TRIM (soooo fast to edit and chop ur samples)
3. ADSR

I think the fact that everyone give a completely different answer is telling

For my workflow :

-Non destructive chopping

-OS2XL Grid edit

-GPE

GRID in the MAIN screen

Q-LINK mapability

INST program

Oh My Goodness!!!!! You can pencil me down for Non destructive chopping!!!! Never really used it b4 cuz i was so used to chopping in the regular trim mode, but this is dope. What makes it so dope 4 me is being able to hit the corresponding pad to access your chops. It helps me get an early feel of how i will sequence my samples.

And the real beauty of NDC is that you can do some very ASR-10 transwave-like stuff with samples now. Go to the qlink screen and select CHOP.

Also, you can adjust the start/end points of your chops at any point in the beatmaking process. Ahhh... the land of happy accidents!

The only drawback is that you can't loop NDC chops.
