3000 Individual outs and FX send.

I tried searching but I wasn't able to find a solid answer on this.

In the manual under The Individual Outsputs/Effects Mixer section it states that "The mixer described in this chapter allows each of the sounds to be assigned to one of the eight assignable mix outputs OR to the internal effects generator".

Is there no work-around to this? Or is it not possible to send effects and have a sound assigned to an individual out?

Any insight would be great.

Yo whats good fellas? Been Fuctin wit this for a minute and i caint figure out how ta get around it!?

Sadly it seems its only possible ta send a program/note to either A.) an individual out(s) or B.) tha efx generator.

Ta me the difference in choosing between those two parameters is like comparing apples ta orangutans...

it jus don't make sense. Serious. i mean thats like soap wit no water, sugar wit no kool-aid, cookies wit out milk...

whats tha beneficial part of usin tha individual outs then? it dont make it more controlling or versatile...

its almost limiting tha possibilities of a mix more than enhancing a mix.

does it have ta do with tha limited amount of on-board sends?

i mean all im tryin ta do is track out my snare and hi percussion thru 1/2; my kicks thru 3/4; the melody of tha

sample thru 5/6;and the bass sample thru 7/8... which was easy ta setup, yet i would like ta keep the melody of tha

sample still running thru tha efx generator...? Anyone kno a way to get around this?

(well guess i could run a delay on tha 5/6 individual out after i track it ta prootools

but will it sound as ill? i love tha MPs efx... overall im jus tryin ta keep it simple.)

Pretty sure the 3000 is the same as the 60. All you need to do is route an external effect processor thru the back of your MP, and then stereo out ur effects to a mixer. Then you can just use the effects mixer inside your MP to route FX. No need to use individual outs.

there is not input on the back of the 3K for effects like the 60

my bad, props to the 60 then

You could work round it by copying the sound to another pad and then routing one through the individual out and one through the Effects -> Stereo out chain.
