^^ i bought this because i been using a "teac" turntable to sample from..like a 15 dollar joint even..lol...so i'll be keeping this but im thinking of buying one to fix and sell..just not sure of a price yet..

guess it depends on how much it costs and how much it needs..

....
ok on the table..
if anybody has any input, that would be great....
i have been to every frigin electronics store in my area and bought every blue led i could find,,i even had some from japan laying around...
i had the 5mm,3mm,
diferent volts,sizes,power..everything....none worked..NONE

and just so u dont think i dont know what im doing....
yes ive tried both ways,my soldering skills are decent and all i can even get the yellow and the green and red to work fine??????????????????????

i need someone who has done this to charm in........it would be appreciated..
as a matter of fact i got so frigin mad i went straight to ebay and bought the dual deck kit..i actually spent less on the kit than i did led's around here..
so back to square one..

on a good note i did the pitch control click mod,,very easy and i like it a lot more...

well more to come later..still waiting on parts

Great thread, sonseelye! Thanks for posting the pics, it's great to see the guts of the 1200's. I have had mine (which were used) for 16 years now, and have never needed any maintanence, but it is cool to watch the restoration of one in case I ever come across another one!

nice, I took apart my Gemini today, and thgat 1200 has ALOT less parts! I was really syrprised ho many parts mine had, and it weighs almost 20 lbs, all plastic! I just cleaned the shit out of it, and re-soldered some wires, but everything looks intact, waiting on a power cord. I might still send it to you for a new tonearm, but once I realized how cheeply made this thing was(plastic galore, 20 lbs of it!)I think I might hunt down an old run down 1200, and send that to you instead. Yo Sonse, pm me, I need to know what you charge for tact switch/pot replacements on a 2000 xl.
