I just got back a 2500 today and the samples are not loading up or maybe they are and im an idoit?

At first i thought there wasnt any samples, when i go to program, i cant set anything there. But i usb(ed) it and there are lots of samples. I know im missing something simple, but after reading forums and the manuals, i just have a headache and no sound.

mode-load-HD-Root-FILE:Dirty South/Platinum sounds/ect-VIEW:ALL FILES, cant get a thing (i know theres wavs in there tho i saw them on my mac...)

mode-load-HD-Root-FILE:samples-VIEW: ALL FILES, gives me 6 little samples...

am i missing something to be able to have those sounds come up when i go to program?

ok you have the sample now make some programs! they don't just program to pads by themselves when you load them if you didn't create a program. You can audition samples before you load them and also pick what pad you want the said sample to be set on.. Good luck

if there is another folder within the 'Dirty South/Platinum sounds/ect' folder then it won't load them, you have to highlight the folder in the load screen and press the direction key to the right which will bring up the folders within that one. then load any folders that don't have other folders within them. you can load individual sounds/samples/wavs individually this way aswell, by pressing the directional key to the right untill you come across samples as opposed to folders.

this is either the problem or the one mentioned above, you need to assign the loaded samples to a program, just create a new program and assign the samples to the pads, your manual will explain how to do this.

this answered my question...thought it would add folders even if it had folders within them...thanks...
