sampling in STEREO

I have a problem sampling in STEREO. I am using a turntable and mixer to sample stuff into my 1000. When i try to sample in STEREO, i get no levels coming out the left. (You know the sound meter). Just the right. I can sample in MONO just fine.

This might be a little irrelevant (to this forum) but I also have the same problem when say uploading my beat into PRO TOOLS. For some reason I get no levels out the left when recording in STEREO on there too. MONO works just fine..

I have tried everything with both the 1K and pro tools. Anyone know what to do?

sounds to me you have a bad left connector o connection somewhere...my turntable wire on one side is messed up and it sometimes needs a wiggle to get it to work again.
