PC Won't Read MPC as RSD (Removable Storage Device)

Sup all,

For some reason my PC isn't recognizing the MPC 1000 as a removable storage device. However, my computer will read iPod's and memory sticks so it's not an issue with the computer.

Thoughts?

To add to that the MPC can be a little bitchy at times. You can try shutting down the comp, connecting the MPC and setting it to USB then turning the comp back on. Sometimes it recognizes it like that.

Still not reading.

I'm wondering if there's something wrong with the MPC itself. Maybe the USB port on the MPC is ****.

what exact steps are you taking?

I've tried basically every "order" of plugging in and unplugging cables, restarting devices, etc., and still no luck. I've recently had my CPU reformated and I'm thinking that might be the problem. Is there something I need to enable on the CPU in order to read flash cards?

U ARE PRESSING USB ONCE ITS CONNECTED IT WONT RECOGNISE IT BY JUS PLUGGING IT IN YOU HAVE TO MOUNT IT
