everytime i save a .pgm and try and open it in my mpc2kxl it doesnt bring all the files over. i just do it manually, hell it doesnt take that long setting 64 sounds to 64 banks. but if i got the pgm maker to work properly i might buy it.

What software are we referring to? If the MPC Editor, then you should contact support since I do not think there are any outstanding issues. It just may be a misconfiguration (if not, then the software gets fixed, regardless if purchased or not).

i got a link for the "free" version MPC 1000 on my website check it out
the interface / functionality is a tad bit better than the one for
$29.95
(I got a MPC 2000XL so i got the old version , but it still gets that job done)

u have to export as, not save. save will just save the program tellin where the sounds are and ish, export moves the files so the program can load them

It's aiight! I prefer the MPC Editor myself. More detailed, and the display is pretty exact the the way you can program your sounds on the MPC itself. The other program I use to convert .wav sounds to snd. That's about all it's good for (to me that is) but others may think more highly of it than I do.
Either way, I'd own both if I were you. Can't hurt, and you will be well armed to do a lot of great stuff with your mpc!!
