Major problem i havent been able to solve so far:
PC (Cubase)/MPC sync difficulty.
Got an M-Audio Audiophile 2496 MIDI'd up with my 2KXL (i/o both ways).
Audio in/out also.
My workflow is basically:
1. Sample records/sounds into MPC
2. Record VSTs (e.g. Basslines) into MPC
3. Sequence beats on MPC
Those 3 work fine.
No. 4 doesnt:
4. Track everything back out to DAW (Cubase) for finishing touches/fx/mastering purposes.
Obviously it would be nice to be synced up so that i hit REC in cubase, MPC starts playing.
Messed around with all the Sync settings in Cubase (MMC, Time Code, MIDI Clock)
as well as on MPC shift-9, but cant sync it right.
Must be something ordinary, i just can't seem to find the missing link.
Any ideas/tips on how to get this done ?
Any type of help/suggestions much appreciated.
