weird sampling problem

ok i have my turntable -> dj mixer -> mpc.. with these cables..


at each end

and these at one of the ends to connect it into the mpc


when i sample, i have to have the cable half way into the mpc, and hold it either up or push the cable down.. idk why this has been happening, its been going on for a while, but it wasnt a big problem for me, but now its just getting annoying.. in the sample screen, i change the monitor to off, and i put the sample time all the way.. and i change it to either mono l or mono r cause holding one cable is too much of a pain in the ass

i remember the frozen one had something similiar to this problem a long time ago but i forgot what was the solution

thats what i meant.. its pretty obvious to try another cable.. so the "wow, really" was kinda unnecessary.. but thanks lamp

Unless you yourself know something about soldering and electronics and can get your hands on the
parts needed, then go for it, and save yourself some loot cause labor in the repair shops almost ALWAYS
cost more than the actual parts themselves.
