Hey fellas, I want to know whats the best way to clean off scuffs and adhesive gunk off of the plastic shell of a 60 MKII. Would alcohol wipes be alright on the plastic? Also, I assume you have to take the top panel off with the hex screws to get in and clean the pads sensors, anyone know what size hex wrench it takes, I have a hex kit here, but none fit.

I've read in these forums people using furniture polish or the inside of an orange peel to remove gummy adhesives.

I have personally used Fantastik Orange Action to remove a 10 year plus old sticker from the top of my mpc60II.
Use a Q-Tip and rub it into the sticker. Saturate it with the orange action. TAKE YOUR TIME, DO IT RIGHT. lol

Electrical Cleaner Spray will also work

Don't access the pads by removing the hex screws that are on the top of the board, you will want to pull the entire top off and then access everything from inside.

On the 60ii that magic eraser from Mr. Clean works great.

I'm glad somebody mentioned that, the metal panel is stuck to the plastic (lexon?) casing with adhesive and the hex screws, so you don't want to remove that section.
