If that's the case then it's not a midi message feature, an input sensing type
feature that in the software possibly?

yeah, because I cant say I used that kind of feature very often... but for example:

a year or two ago I used it in fl studio with an axiom controller. I pushed a button on the keyboard while record on input was enabled and it would start the sequencer recording and then I would play my notes so I didn't have to click record and dash back to the controller. If fl studio has the feature then I am pretty sure cubase has something like that.

Yeah with key commands set and customized to your likings, less hassles mean more creativity the way I see it.

can i hit this thread with a short question?
if not ok, let me know

Scenario: Logic is set as SOUND MODULE to the Mpc 60, so i can seuence a few Vstis with the mp

that means there is NO synchronisation between em, Logic is not set to run with the mpc

given this set up, can i still synchronize Logic to the mpc?

i am asking because i am recording a few real instruments, like Vibraphone and of course need the recordings to run in sync with the rest..

if anything is wrong wit posting this here let me know please

thanks

Sync or not, your saying no sync but asking for sync, make up your mind.
What ever you need recorded/playing back in a sequence needs to be synced.

:?: huh

as i said, the MPC simply triggers Logic Vstis as asound modules, but the Logic squencr isnt running with the mpc or the other way around

so when i have a live Vibes Recording AUDIO!!! i need logic to start exactly with the mpc and stay in sync until the end obviously..

thats what i meant

Sound modules are slaves, the sequencer is master/timing when synced.

okay, so you are saying that i shall slave Logic to the MPC 60 while keeping the soundmodule connection as it is so that my audio recordings in logic play and start sync with the MPC sequencer right!?

okay, will your sync mpcXXXX to Logic link really be enough to set this up? as i think the MPC 60 (3.10) doesnt have some of that functions that the newer models have.

Surprised you haven't tried that yet. I can't tell you what will actually work cause I don't
have either, but you do and you could have tried it by now since you were thinking it ya know what I'm saying.

I copied and pasted what was on Akai's site, I've never used Logic so I can't help further, sorry.
