I think that my memory card slot is broken because the MPC is not recognizing the memory card that is installed anymore. It was working previously although I haven't turned it on in a while. What can be done about this?

Get a cheap CF card reader for your computer, and then insert said card. If the computer can't read the card, then it's the card that screwed. If it reads it fine it may be the pins in your CF reader on your 25k.

Okay, there are two pins in the memory card slot that are bent, preventing me from loading the card onto my MPC1000. This would be fine, but the USB is also broke on it.

I need to repair either the slot, the usb, or both. What should I do?

Oh also, I pulled the thing apart to see if I could fix the two bent pins myself, but I absolutely cannot. It looks as if I need to replace that entire chip that it's glued to.

I bought the MPC used off some guy on gearslutz for 250, he wanted to sell it for 500. Good thing I didn't spend 500.

Please help.
