FL Studio on Mac???

Ok, so i have finally come to realize the Fl Studio would more than likely be the best and most efficient way for me to setup my studio with my mpc5k and to incorparate vst's (which i didnt know FL supported) along with other features to better my workflow...

The problem is that i am also aware that FL Studio is windows only based but the intel processing power of the mac's would be best for the music production and editing that im going for so im SOL right?

well thats my question... i know that macs can also run windows via Boot Camp or Paralle. My question is how well does this work with FL Studio. Has ANYONE tried this? And I have also read that not all soundcards will work this way... does anyone know which ones will? thanks for any help... i need all i can get.

you can use crossover with it, wich lets you run it kinda like its native on mac

have another question more related to fl and the mpc... would it be possible to have the audio from the mpc playing along with the audio from fl in sync so the drums playing on individual out on fl mixer? I know u can midi the mpc to sync and i know you can track the drums into fl on individual tracks with the playlist record mode... i just wann know if i can do this without having the track the drums in first... like have them both playin and when i press stop on the mp fl stops...

I think you can do that.. you know in the fl mixer where you put in fx from the drop down menu? well on the top of that area it has an input select... which you can assign to mic inputs and stuff. I am not sure how it works with every type of sound card though but it should be the same.

fl works fine on a mac. if you are going to be doing some serious production, i would suggest using it via bootcamp so that all of your processing power is dedicated to windoze and fl studio. thats how i do it if i am out and want to make music

you say fl via bootcamp is fine. I've read several posts about soundcard troubles using windows on a mac with bootcamp. what is your audio interface ? which version of Windows do you use etc...

right now i am using a digi 002. ive also used an mbox 2 pro, and mbox 2 micro with fl studio and mac. ive never had, or heard of any problems with interfaces. what have you heard? what is supposed to happen (or not happen)?

Okay so apparently FL studio runs nicely in pluggin (as a vst) within other DAWs on macs.... so.... ableton live hosting FL studio

people who believe this only use preset sounds and included samples.

sequencers dont "sound" like anything.... so it has to be the demo samples and presets.
