Hi all!
The whole problem started with the outputs:
The left output from the Stereo main out was a little bit louder than the right one (mono samples, totally balanced at the mixer)
So I brought my MPC to the hungarian (cuz I'm hungarian) AKAI service station...
After they "fixed" it, I brought it home, and guess what, it had the same problem AND the assignable mix outs 1 and 3 channel were a slightly louder (higher signal level) then the 2 and 4...
And after just a few hits on the pads, the whole machine was mute.
No signal from any of the outputs. Nada. Nor from the stereo phone output.
I'm really pissed right now.
The stereo ins seem to work... and everything else as well but no sound is coming out from it.
Its like a big heavy midi controller right now
Any idea what could have happened?
Is there an "output modul" inside the MPC? (main question: is it expensive to replace it?)
