Turntable Sampling To MPC Static?

Whaddup just wanted to find out what the problem is this time haha, i seem to be having problems with too much static when i sample a vinyl into the MPC, even after messing with the gain knob. Any suggestions?

What kind of Turntable are you using? You can buy a cheap $50.00 DJ mixer anywhere. Google is your friend.

I have a stanton t 52 turntable, as far as grounding it isnt that the little hook on each end of the RCAs? If so ive already done that.

So what exactly did you ground the hook to?

your groundwire needs to be attached to some metal, like a screw or groundpost or you wil hear a constant buzz

a dj mixer also has a built-in phono preamp which is also probably in order if you're just going directly from the turntable to the mpc without...
