Hi,
i have some serious issues with upgrading my MPC 4000 to a maximum of 512 MB RAM. Being in exchange with akaipro i am sure using the right RAM chips.
168 pin, 256 MB Ram, CL2, 100/133 Mhz(tried them both). For some reason my MPC does not recognize the installed RAM at all. Have been trying previous OS, but nothing.
So far i know the machine is kind of picky if it comews to RAM, but i am trying several brands now and still without success. Anybody had familiar problems. Might it really be a hardware problem with the motherboard of the MPC or anything else?
I am very happy for any kind of help.
