Anybody ever Changed the LCD them-selves?????

anybody that ever changed their own LCD.. holla at me, cause I wanna know if i could do it my self easily or should I just man-up and pay the extra couple of dollars for labor....

I just changed mine probably about a three weeks ago. It took me all of about 10 minutes to do. You will need one of those little eyeglasses screwdivers, (phillips head) and steady hands, but it was overall pretty simple. 2 screws a ribbon and a plug is all you have to worry about.

I have a 2000 with a line in it. Where is the cheapest replacement screen?

Not to hate but "I will let you know after I order mine".. no hate just gotta make sure I get mine I searched for days... (but there is a cat on ebay sellin one the has minor lines in it) not sure how bad your line is.... check it out

Cool thanks. I understand about you getting yours first. I have a 1000 that Im using more right now. But I do want to get mine fixed. Please let me know if they do have any left and what price. Thanks kid.
