Blank Green Screen after CF input?

i just bought a used mpc 1000. after i input my compact flash card into my blue mpc 1000 it goes to a blank green screen. it is a scan disk 4 gb compact flash card. newest jjos. can anyone explain why? i wanna load my sounds on this and start making music!

remove the card. Look in the slot...how do those pins look?

one of em is bent. what can i do?

nevermind, i unplugged it and used a small screw driver to carefully bend it back and it worked! now im in the process of moving my sounds over. thanks for the help!!!

Cool. FYI the pins break extremely easy. Be very gentle when inserting or removing a card. Glad you got it solved man!
