Right, I've finally got my hands on an S950 and I don't know whether it's an American model or a UK model. I did however buy it from the UK. It has a voltage change switch for 220V - 240V. It didn't say in the auction whether or not it came with a power cord also...

I wasn't too bothered as I presumed that it would work with a kettle plug but the connector on the back is different.

I went to Maplins and bought a "USA 2-Pin Mains Line Socket" but it is too big to fit into the back.

I've had a look around the internet but I figured that this would be the place best suited for my needs, I even did a search but with no similar cases to mine.

Oh God, can anyone help me please because it's pecking my head and I just wanna get down to sampling fat breaks and shiz!

Peace and thanks in advance.

Cheers for the heads up man. Well I think the American two pin plug end I have is a C9 but it appears to be too big for the socket in the back of the S950...

Could it be that I have an American but not a C9 hahaha? If not what am I going to do?

Has anyone else had this problem, can anyone rectify it? I'm going insane/crying!

Cheers

Yeah man, thanks for that, I checked the link and stuff, you've been much help buddy. I'mma try and locate one of them cables in the next few days (it seems so hard to get my hands on that sucker) or get that socket whacked into the back!

Thank you man! Great help :D

Peace

good luck. I got an S-series last year (cd3000xl) and am hooked on playing with samplers now - it'll be worth it when you get that lead!
