Really nice setup. What are those wood-paneled keyboards? I see three of them(above the Nord, and one on either side of the violin Bass bottom tier) and can't quite figure out what they are. Pardon my ignorance. And what do you think of them all. Looking to buy a keyboard a keyboard or sound module at some point and wondering what you would recommend? Just in general your most often used.

On top of the Nord is a Korg 700s aka MiniKorg! Love that thing! Below the Korg MS20 is a custom Sequential Circuits Pro One with Synthwood.com case, Prophet 5 knobs and flourescent orange mod/pitchwheel. On the other rack its a Roland Jupiter 8(12bit model) completely refurbished on top & a Sequential Circuits Prophet 5, I had MIDI modded.

What can I say about all of them? Nothing beats an analog programmable synthesizer. I love them all. The MiniKorg, ProOne & MS20 have no memory. So, once you switch you can't save, but nothing beats the sound if you can capture it on tape, so to speak.

There are lots of great synths you can get. The older ones are brilliant, no doubt. However, try and get something newer unless you want to spend time fixing or paying someone to fix them. I've commented on a ton of synths on this forum. Take a look. Lots of gems out there waiting to be purchased.

SAY NO TO ROMPLERS. PRESETS SUCK! Ha!

It's my understanding that JJP doesn't even use that room anymore. That picture was supposed to have been taken just before he took all his equipment out and moved into another Ocean's Way room.

Great setup! What kind of headphones are those in front of the mixer? I don't mean to undermind your storage ideas but be careful with those records laying flat. Still, so clean, looks great.

yes, true
the records can warp in that position in the long time
you have to put it in a vertical position
