While the seq is playing back, hold note repeat and hold a sample pad down at the same time.

"MPC500 Operator's Manual rev 1.0, pg 2 ?!?!?!?
13. [Note Repeat] Button:
Holding this button when you strike a pad causes the pad to retrigger the sample at a rate indicated by pressing the [TIMING
CORRECT] button.

MPC500 Operator's Manual rev 1.0, pge 20, Chapter 3: Sequence feature
Note Repeat Feature
If you press a pad while holding the [NOTE REPEAT] button, the pad sound will be triggered repeatedly according to the value of the
timing correct until you release the pad. You can also control its velocity by changing the pressure that is applied to the pad. With the Note
Repeat feature, you can record a phrase that would be difficult to record in real time, such as 16 beat hi hat, snare roll, etc…
1. Press the [NOTE REPEAT] button during recording / playback.
2. While holding the [NOTE REPEAT] button, press the pad to trigger the sample repeatedly."

You had problems even getting to page 2?!?!

i all ready did it, but i have no idea what can i do to solve the problem!! Im from south america (Venezuela) and here isn`t many people who knows about the mpc service or support, so i need to solve this problem by my own i guess, so it would help me a lot if someone knows where can i look for the note repeat
preference!!

now it seems to be working but the sounds dont trigger at the same speed , where can i modify that? maybe there is the answer why it was not working yesterday

Quant... as in quantity; to give a numerical value over a set range of possible values

ize... a suffix; to act in a certain way; to treat in a certain way; to make into; to treat with; to do; to make; to cause

Quantize... To limit the possible values of (a magnitude or quantity) to a discrete set of values by quantum mechanical rules.

Well perhaps by MPC rules... but hopefully you get the idea. It's also why some MPCs have different swing/feels to them... they don't always break up those value ranges equally which lends itself to a whole bunch of funky.
