Ok, I figured out the whole CD-R loading thing...but now that I know how to do it I can't get one to work. I just bought a 3000 drum and fx CD and i can't get the files to come up on my load screen. I hit load.....go to the scsi 1 device.....I got to .wav for the file type and it keeps telling me that the "scsi is not ready"........no file pops up in the upper right or anything......I tried all my other CD's to see if they worked and they did......what could I be doing wrong?

it could have to do with the format of the cd or the files on it might not be .wav files.

All the files on this particular CD are .wav files.....they just won't load up on my system.....and like I said....I have 5 other sample CD's that work and that I have used. Very confusing.

Some CDs contain non PCM wav files that just wont load in an MPC - I have a couple of WAV sample CDs that dont work with my MPC
