Here's a qucik ?

say I have sound modules and other sampler I control via midi hooked up to mpc midi out A, run in a daisy chain. on MPC MIDI out B I use connect it to the MIDI IN of my recorder (PC) and use that to sync for midi recording.

could I also USe chanel MIDI out B on the mpc to daisy chain it through, say an s2000, and control that sampler from midi B AND continue to use midi B for syncing w/my PC for recording?

basically, when using a midi output on the MPC for syncing does it use the whole channel (1-16) or does it use none or does it use one, two etc.? so can I use one output for exclusivly midi and then the other for midi and syncing with my PC recorder?

I'm not sure if timecode uses all 16 channels. But i've read somewhere it's not a good idea to use the same cable to run midi notes and timecode together.
Timecode transmits a lot of data (25 per second or more) and if you start mixing nota data with that it may skip out of sync sooner.
If possible use channel-A for all your soundmodules, and B for timecode only. I have 2 modules and 2 samplers chained together on just one channel and that works for me.
