Someone corect me if I'm wrong, but this may be another bug in the current OS. I dont have a lot of experience using the internal efx on the 4000. I only use the filters. For EFX, I use outboard processors or plugins. I think the 4000's reverb are absolute CRAP! Anyway, the manual says that the efx settings will be saved with the Multi. So its either a bug, or your doing something wrong. I wish I could help more....

hi earth,
i agree that the reverbs are crap, but some other of the fx i find useable, for example the delays. if it´s supposed to be saved with the multi, well then it just does´nt. if some of you ever find the 5 minutes to try that out and report if it works properly or not, it would be a great help. because if i could identify this as another bug of the os, i would find it totally unacceptable and start to become really angry. on the other hand, i simply can´t imagine akai delivering a top-notch product with bugs like this. it can´t be...

have you guys tweaked the paramaters on the EFX?
there are some pretty dope possibilities there..
also have you saved entire memory along with your settings?
Finally make sure that the PROGRAM dialed up in sequence screen corresponds with the program you were using at the time of your original settings??
It gets confusing but this should work
I have done many trax on 4ooo and my intricate parameter settings and efx have so far come back the same..
(knock on wood)
although granted there are still some bugs in 4000)
