ok, i bought an mpc 2000xl, the screen says "INSERT MPC 2000XL DISK !" when you turn it on, the compact flash card reader has a bent pin, soi bought a iomega zip 100 zip drive, got the mpc operating system v 1.14 on a zip drive, connected via scsi and...NOTHING! tried holding shift while pushing three (load), and nothing ... any suggestins!>!>!>>

replace the zip drive with a floppy drive? and load the operating system via floppy disk?

You can reinstall the zip or CF drive after the machine is back up and running.
