Logic Sound Module

I've watched and read all the forums, can't figure it out. I have a 2000XL, Logic 9, M-Audio 2x2 Midisport.

Talk me through all the steps please. Include settings in Logic and on the mp.

did you change the midi settings you have to make the computer the master ,i used logic with my vs880 only and i had to set the comp to master for it to function with it.oh and mmc neeeds to be on

yeah...cant figure what out?
it would help to let us know what you want to do with this gear?

im guessing:
record your beats?
midi time code?
record individual tracks?
8 outs?

also what model MPC (classic or XL) are you using?

i have MPC2kxl with logic 8, presonus firepod and an m-audio midi sport uno (1x1)....
