Syncing with Pro Tools/Logic and also using midi...

Ok, two things, I've managed to sync the MPC with Logic and Pro Tools so that when I press play in pro tools/logic the MPC starts to play, but I can't do it so that I can press play on the MPC and it plays pro tools/logic. is there a way around this, surely there has to be?

The second thing, can I have some pads play the audio on the MPC and trigger midi samples in my software sampler?
