This was the setup, I did add a pair of Rokit 5's.

So... the wife decided to end things, kept the house, kept the child, destroyed all the equipment.... yeah, I was a bad boy. Now I'm starting over and since I have a clean start... besides my MacBook Pro that I still have and my Axiom 25.... I was wondering what ideas anyone would go with. I was thinking maybe start with a 2500 instead of the 5k...

Ideas...?

Ouch! Reminds me of being locked out after disappearing for the weekend myself. That's the only thing about shacking with these broads, they try to get to you by means of f**king up your sh!t.

Have you taken any legal action yet? And I think you'd be better off going with the 2500 too, unless you find a phenominal deal somewhere on a 5k.

A Wife only destroys your shit if you cheat on her, ie **** a female on the side....yeah, People's Court wont even save you either. You may wanna hold off on the gear for a minute stick with that Macbook and controller!

...and check yourself. You f@cked up dude. Nevermind fixing on gear. Sounds like it's time to take a step back and work on getting some balance and perspective in your life. More gear isn't going to cure this thing, but yeah, getting an MP1K with JJ or a 2500 sounds like a good fix for this one aspect of the trouble you find yourself in.

I think the 2500 is the dopest drum machine I have ever touched (and I've used them all).. with the akai OS, I almost went back to the 2000XL or the MPC-60, but JJ really made all the difference. It feels good, sounds good, and can do anything you need it to do. 8 outs, dedicated buttons, fast processor, nice filters, USB, etc.. what more could you need? :)

maybe that 's his way of dealing with the issue, besides cant paint over fresh paint...gotta wait til first coat dries before applying new... this is probably not the best time for him trying fix shit, time heals wounds
