I just got an mpc 2000xl and i have a bunch of stuff that i want to hook up into it. I have the mpc, and akai dps12 recorder, a microkorg and a numark TTi turntable. I want to hook all of these up into each other and i was wondering the easiest way to do this. Is a mixer nessicery and what kind would be the best if so. If i do need a mixer i would like to get a decent one so please give me suggestions. Would the easiest way to do this be through MIDI. Everyones information would be very helpful to me. THank you.

Simplist way would be to run the TT directly to the MPC, MIDI the microkorg to the MPC, run the audio outs from both the MPC and microkorg to the DPS.

Or if u dont want to go the MIDI route, you could pick up 8 channel mixer and run korg along with any other sound modules u have into it and then run that mixer into the MPCs audio inputs, then just run the MPC audio outs into the DPS

Also, make sure u understand the differences between MIDI and Audio. This should all make better sense once you do
