I was reading the forums, after a little Haitus and I seen a tip that I would like everybody to know...you can select all the pads to apply effects to when mixing by pressing shift + pad bank you wish to select...

I am not taking credit for this tip, but a tip of my own that I would suggest to beginners who are trying to sample would be to use Recycle 2.1, chop your sample, and export your file as a Wav....load the samples into your MPC and begin sampling/beat making...

If anybody else has any tips or cheats or shortcuts, please put everybody on, I know Im not using my MPC to its fullest capability...

If someone could tell me how to do a snare roll I would appreciate it...Im trying to make a dirty south beat

Use different timing correction values.
Or play them without quantizing.

I've different sequence templates.
I've pre-chopped dry drumkits.

Not really mpc2500 specific, but those things helps u to work quicker.
