Updating MPC 2500 OS to 1.24

How do you load the os normally?

go to 'load' and load the .bin file (JJ OS) like you would a sample, it will start the updating process, follow the instructions on the screen.

make sure you are uploading from the standard 'akai os' to the JJOS 3.09. which is free. if you try and update to any other ones at the moment it won't work. has to be 3.09 for now.

Format your HD with JJ too as this corrects an old Akai bug that can cause problems.
