i think i asked the same question a few months ago, but i think it turned out that on the 1000 it just wasn't possible.

you can do the same thing but i forgot how. read the manual about overdub. you hit shift overdub then the pad you wanna erase or something.

realy i never herd of that nice ill take a look ... usually when i record it into the comp. i give everything its own track fast and easy to mute sertant tracks.

do you mean some creating a similar effect to clicking in and out with a mixer? i really wanted to know about that too. i think that's too advanced for the mpc.
