Hard Disk use

Once I got the Hard Disk installed, all the audio recorded that I want to play on a audio track will still load in the old internal memory like when using stuff from the card, or it will just play from the hard disk?
The reason I m asking this is to know if I will still be limited by the old internal memory capacity.

Depends on the size of your RAM doesn't it? With regards to how much audio you can play live

a hard drive is nothing more htan a file cabinet.........it has no bearing on the memory needed / required to play samples in sequences, etc while you are working on a project and or track.

You mean the RAM on the HARD DISK ?

If I write a sequence, I have to save it on the card with everything its got, like samples and so on, and everytime I turn the MPC on I have to load from the card the sequence.
My question was do I still have to do the same when having the HArd Disk installed?

If you write a sequence, you have to save it on the Hard Disk with everything its got, like samples and so on, and everytime you turn the MPC on you have to load from the Hard Disk the sequence.
My answer is, you can load/save all the files you actually loading/saving from/to your card you can load/save with an installed Hard Disk.

Yes. HD and CF serve the same purpose.

So is the RAM memory big enough for audio files on all the 8 available channels plus whatever u use in the production of the song?
Or for a live situation, will it hold 8 song so to be ready to be played??
