When the finished product is done i will post another pic for anyone who is interested. Gonna do the rest of the buttons R&B without going overboard. RED and BLACK have been my favorite colors forever.
Til next time.....Keep the Forum Hot.....Keep Bangin' Em Out.....

You gonna throw a red screen in there? I think that would seal the deal.

Is there any soldering involved with putting a new screen in?
The guy at MPCStuff said no, but I have seen some posts saying that it does. Seelye where you get yours from?

ok
it's quite similar to what my shop said.
I'm quite impatient to see their job on my faceplates.

I'm trying to polish one of the mpcs but it's haaaaaard work.
It's starting to look nice though in a kind of mirror way (not like those shitty chrome paints I've already seen)

Oh yeah, got my white screen from MPCstuff in last night. Looks sick. Also while I was at it I installed black buttons and did the solid state hard drive modification. Props to Triple-X for giving the whereabouts to that IDE to CF card adapter. One thing I noticed when putting the jumper on cable select is that you really have to almost bend the jumper to the left ever so slightly because it's almost is to big. I guess you could always shave a little plastic off the jumper or just get a smaller jumper, no big deal. It's amazing some of the mods you guys are coming up with! I wanted to get all the white lettering taken off and have it replaced with gloss black lettering. I think it would look cool with the sort of satin black finish of the MPC. I don't know if I would have to repaint the whole case to do that though. I don't know how the lettering would be put on.

The screen that I got from MPCstuff looks like it's better built than the original as well. I know all these mods have been done before, although I'm not sure about the cursor arrows but, now it's been done to mine!

Scotch tape, Krylon, and patience! I had to do it twice, I about died.
Thanks man, your custom mpc amongst others up here is what inspired me. First time I did gloss black arrows on satin black and it looked real dope but when I put the clear coat on, the arrows disappeared  so I redid it and went with red.
