Ahhh... all these 'smart' people around, but they still haven't answered the question.

I got lost! I dont need records, I have plenty. I mean I dont want to record my vinyl that I have to a hdd because its time consuming.

Nothing wrong with reselling. They're your possessions. Yea, vinyl takes up space..but there is just something about having a little archive to refer to..it's not like you can do that with cd's..you get enough vinyl and it's like having a fortress of audio. I'd never resell my vinyl. Every time I go digging I keep the children in mind. Someones gotta keep vinyl alive.

Speaking as someone who has moved multiple times during my record collecting career, I can attest to the importance of weeding out the collection as much as possible... I would almost rather move one piano than 5,000 LPs....

The thrifts end up getting most of my discards, the only problem is trying not to rebuy something I dropped back off at the thrift store.
