single sided floppies

im aware u can format hd floppies to run in a mpc60 but this creates issues as far as reliability of the floppy. i recently scored a pile of dd and sd floppies. as far as the sd floppies. will i have the same issue as with the hd floppies? thanks

I dont think you will have the same issue.
The biggest issue you will have is that sd floppies don't hold much data.

How are those 60 beats coming along? About the Disks, where did you find Single Sided disks? Have you tried formatting them on the 60? I would be curious to see if it would format them to 800K.

rtech mah man. loving the 60. the beats havent been much of lately just moved to a new place a week ago. i hit up a bunch of old/used/whatever electronic shops i know of and they had dd as well as sd floppys and i got a good chunk of all these floppies for free. i havent formatted a ss floppy yet. il format one tonight or tomorrow and update everyone with whats happens.
