Preciate it man!, I didn't know that. I wonder why they could never get it work on the 2k or the xl but got it working on the 1k and the 2500.

JJ was contracted by akai to make the OS for the 1000 and the 2500. akai ripped him off by not paying what he was owed. because of that JJ owned all his work he did and released it on his own and continued to work on it and make updated versions.... that way he would recoup some of the money he lost by not getting payed by akai.
... or so the story goes. He never had a hand in creating OSs for any other model to begin with therefore he was never given the material required to start working on those other models.... and he never will be given the material required ever to make something for those other models......
