hello all,
os2xl 1.14, tonight I had a sample with LOOP ON and a different start point set up as NOTE ON. Only 1 track with 3 samples in POLY (2 were long vocals from a movie). My idea was to make the sample loop during around 40 bars at 142.3 BPM.
Result is after recording and during the playback the sample cut and stop looping. I didn't really have a clue so i checked into grid edit and I saw that the duration value was at 9999.
Do you think I'm missing something or don't you have any insight? Sounds more like a limitation than a bug to me.
Bonus question : I never really understand how Q link are thought to work even with Akai OS.
I only want to do filter variations with the Q link. So can you explain me why when you set lowest and highest values (or not) when you record it seems that the value is not recorded if you don't move the Q link and consequently you always have to go to STEP EDIT to change the first value of the first event. It has always seemed counter-intuitive to me.
For me we should be able to press STOP+REC ad then when moving the Q link the recording starts with the good value.
If I'm missing something else again please express yourself.
Peace to those who took the time to read my post and think about it.
