auto chromatic assignment

Hi, if you auto chromatically assign a sample, does it just play on the midi keyboard or will it play on all the pad banks as well?.

Keyboard triggers whatever is assigned to the pads

If u've assigned the samples to fill all those 4 banks, then yes.

The keyboard can only trigger a specific sound when that sound has been assigned to one of the pads

Thanks, to save me using loads of programs on different tracks could I say assign a sample to pad a1 a different sample to pad a2 and another to a3, use auto chromatic assign for the 3 pads so they just play on the keyboard and not the pads so the 3 samples dont interfere with each other ?.
