effectboard eb4js exchange possible? - mpc4000 HELP NEEDED

What would you say....

a friend bought a mpc4000
main problem--> effects not working

we checked all effect settings, programm routings etc. and they are fine.

config says: card is installed

but

we can t hear any effects .

we checked the same files on another mpc4000 and everything works.

we reinstalled the OS 1.71

did anyone have ever seen the effectsboard inside the mpc4k or have a picture of where its located?

we couldn t find it.

did anyone ever had to exchange the eb4js?

Do you know a place where you can buy an eb4js 24bit/mpc4k?

any ideas?

Personally, I hope I don't have to do any repairs at all, only if neccessary though. But here's some info that might help you along the way.

thanks alot for your hint. Finally we found the effectboard. It was hiding in the darkest corner of the mpc.

we couldnt find the problem, but it was a nice experience seeing alle the mpc4000 parts inside.
